Central Park

Designed and executed by landscape masters Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmstead (whose influence on American landscape architecture continues to be front-and-center more than 100 years after his death), Central Park, on an average day, is easily the best place in the world to people-watch--there are more humans in the park doing every kind of imaginable activity that you will simply never be bored--and that's not even counting the Zoo, the Delacorte Theater, or Tavern on the Green.
