Fifth Avenue’s immersive holiday décor, sponsored by NEST New York, is now on view from 47th to 59th Streets, where festive displays and illuminated trees fill the district with seasonal magic. Each installation is subtly infused with the signature holiday scent, creating a multi-sensory experience unique to Fifth Avenue. Catch the holiday magic now through January 4.

The beloved 30-foot crystal snowflake returns to the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, illuminating the iconic shopping corridor for the holiday season. Featuring more than 16,500 individual crystal prisms and weighing approximately as much as a small elephant, the dazzling installation is suspended high above the avenue and has become one of Midtown Manhattan’s most recognizable holiday traditions.

New York historian Kevin Draper will explore Fifth Avenue’s role as the first global stage for holiday magic. From the origins of its innovative department store displays and legendary holiday windows to the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, attendees will gain an inside look at how Fifth Avenue became synonymous with the season. Tracing history to the present day, the tour highlights the cultural, commercial, and community significance of New York City’s most iconic corridor during the holidays.  

Fifth Avenue Holiday Open Streets returns for its fourth year on December 14th. Fifth Avenue will once again transform into a pedestrian promenade with Holiday Open Streets, inviting New Yorkers and visitors alike to experience the magic of the city’s most iconic thoroughfare. Open streets creates a rare and much-loved opportunity for attendees to stroll freely, shop, and create holiday memories in NYC. The celebration will once again showcase spectacular lights, holiday decor, live entertainment, food and beverage, and one-of-a-kind brand activations.
